Identify Test Type
During this activity, the performance tester works with the technical stakeholders to specifically determine the type of test to be conducted to collect the required metric(s). Types of exploratory tests are often classified as either "black-box" or "white-box" testing. These test often require additional coding, logging or system monitoring not provided by load generation tools. These tests are typically created in close collaboration with the administrators and developers of the system.
